Hi, I’m Mikaela, I am a graphic designer and illustrator from Albany, New York. I have experience with branding, package design, illustration, motion graphics, print, and ui/ux design. Purposeful and thoughtful in my designs, I place an emphasis on conceptualization. I enjoy collaboration, I find it interesting to see how different design styles meld together to create a unique final product. Inspired by my own experiences and the experiences of people I have met, I am passionate about being a part of, and amplifying spaces of social change. I believe art and design make an impact on our world and I am motivated to create work that is meaningful.
As a Junior Graphic Designer at Russell Sage College and a BFA graduate in Graphic + Media Design, I have developed a strong foundation in brand identity, creative direction, print design, and social media graphics.
I am new to the Chicago area, seeking out new experiences and the beginning of the next chapter of life. I enjoy the little things. Some of my favorite simple pleasures include cute cafe’s, a room filled with plants, bringing my dog for walks, farmers markets, and going to live music/sports events. What are yours?
